GARDEN LABORER
Job Description
The Garden Laborer supports all departments of the cultivation warehouse and is primarily responsible for warehouse cleanliness. Laborers are responsible for cutting down, hanging, planting, pruning, organization and facility maintenance.
Essential functions
Responsible for following standard operating procedures
Maintains pots, buckets, trays and other planting supplies
Prepares plants for the cultivation lead’s trimming process
Properly disposes of waste material
Responsible for watering the plants according to Cultivation Manager’s schedule
Knowledge of proper plant placement into pots and buckets
Responsible for restroom cleanliness and trash maintenance for the entire facility
Inspecting inventory by counting and confirming cultivation tools and supplies
Responsible for replacing environmental control supplies such as air conditioner and dehumidifying filters

Required Education and Experience
Highschool diploma or equivalent
2 years horticulture experience
Must be 21 and over
Physical Demands

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
